- Carol and Clive are not full time "professional photographers" but may be considered as, possibly, passionate; certainly, enthusiastic; amateur photographers.
- They have been members of photographic clubs in the Winchester area, competing in many local and regional competitions and exhibitions, for a number of years.
- Both Carol and Clive are past members of the Royal Photographic Society having both gained their "Licentiate" (LRPS) distinctions with this organization.
- As committee members they continue to support the Wonston and Worthys Camera Club contributing to many of the activities, outings and competitions.
- Having both remained loyal to the Nikon brand of cameras for many years, Clive became a "founder member" of the Nikon Owners Club and remains a member of the Southern Region of this international club.
- For several years both Carol and Clive were photographers for the UK events in the "ThunderCatRacingUK" boat racing series, covering events from Scarborough in North Yorkshire, where they covered the World Championships in 2007, to Torquay in Devon, Burry Port in Carmarthenshire, Wales; to Ramsgate about as far east as you can get in Kent!
